Surrender to This Version of You: Love Yourself
Have you ever found yourself in a place where everything you once knew, believed in, and strived for suddenly feels uncertain?
That's exactly where I am right now. For so long, I was so sure of everything—every plan, every goal, and every step I needed to take to get what I wanted in life. I was fearless, ready for whatever came my way, and I believed that nothing could touch me.
But lately, something has shifted. I've become acutely aware of my feelings in various spaces, and it's made me a little doubtful, scared, and cautious about certain decisions. It's almost as if I don't recognize myself anymore.
I'm in such an uncomfortable space, trying to navigate what my soul is begging for and surrendering to it.
There was a time when I believed that money and success would fix all my problems. I thought that being a workaholic, grinding with no sleep, and having no chill would bring me happiness. But it didn't. Instead, it heightened the things I was running from and ignoring. My mind, body, and soul just can't and won't keep up with that pace anymore.
The more I try to force myself to do the things I used to, the more my body rejects it. I feel like God has been sending me messages, reminding me that I can't do this without Him and that I need to stop trying to control everything. No matter what decisions I make, they will still lead me to my dreams and goals. But if I follow the guidance of God and my soul, maybe I will feel a little more at ease instead of constantly resisting.
It's a humbling experience, learning to honor the need to rest, to live, to just be, and still wanting to be great. I pray that you give yourself grace while allowing yourself to evolve into this new version of yourself. Love all of you, even the parts that are changing and growing.
Remember, it's okay to not have all the answers. It's okay to feel uncertain and to take things one step at a time.
Trust that you are being guided, and that everything will unfold as it should. Embrace the unknown, and allow yourself to be vulnerable. You might just find that this new path leads to a deeper sense of peace and fulfillment than you ever imagined.
